Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community Virtual Training will assist in helping professionals develop an increased sense of cultural competency and learn relevant information and skills related to working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+, in addition to gaining valuable insight into some of the unique challenges faced by this population.

CEs for Counselors and Social Workers available

1. Provide a comprehensive guide to commonly used terms and definitions.
2. Summarize the challenges faced by those in the LGBTQ+ community today.
3. Discuss considerations pertaining to clinical work with the LGBTQ+ client or client system.
