FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board Appoints Kaitie Park Hart as the New Executive Director.

Ashtabula, OH – The Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kaitie Hart as its new Executive Director effective March 1, 2024. In this role, Ms. Hart will lead the organization’s efforts to provide essential mental health and substance use services, recovery supports, and resources to individuals and families in Ashtabula County.

With a proven track record of dedication to behavioral health advocacy and community engagement, Ms. Hart joined the Board in 2015. She began her work with the Board as the Drug-Free Communities Grant Coordinator and currently holds the position of Director of Operations.

“I am honored to take on the role of Executive Director at the Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board,” said Kaitie. “Mental health and substance use disorder awareness and support are crucial, especially in today’s challenging times. I am committed to continue working collaboratively with our behavioral health providers, community partners, schools, community members, and the dedicated staff at the Board to ensure that everyone in Ashtabula County has access to quality behavioral health services.”

A graduate of Jefferson High School, Ms. Hart holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ohio State University in Family Studies through the College of Human Development and Family Science. She received her Master’s in Public Administration from Kent State University in 2021.

The Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board has served the County for over 55 years, as the County organization assessing the needs of the community and funding prevention, treatment, and recovery support services that bring hope and improve the quality of life for persons and their loved ones affected by mental health and/or substance use disorders. The organization remains dedicated to breaking down barriers to behavioral health care and fostering a stigma-free environment of understanding and empathy.
