If you are unsure if your health insurance covers treatment, call the phone number listed on the back of your insurance card to determine your benefits and treatment option locations.
If you are uninsured, or your insurance does not cover services, please contact a contracted treatment provider directly to discuss options. Many offer sliding fee scales and some services may be covered by grants or reimbursement from the Ashtabula MHRS Board.

NALOXONE (Narcan)
Naloxone is a drug used to temporarily reverse an opiate overdose until emergency medical personnel can arrive.
You can purchase Naloxone to use on someone you care about with your personal insurance or Medicaid. You can also receive a free Naloxone kit by contacting the Ashtabula County Health Department at (440) 576-6010, Community Counseling Center by calling (440) 855-2265, or Signature Health at (440) 992-8552 Extension 20112. Free naloxone is also available through the mail by visiting www.harmreductionohio.org.

Assists with the Board’s HUD Shelter Plus Care Housing Voucher Program Provides program oversight and direct client reviews to ensure housing stability for participants who are diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and previously homeless.
