MHRS Board receives 3-year Culture of Quality (CoQ) Certification – At the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities January meeting, the Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services (MHRS) Board was presented with a 3-year Culture of Quality (CoQ) Certification. The Culture of Quality Certification Program is a peer review process designed to improve the quality of the work of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Boards across the state that administer funding for substance use and mental health disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for Ohioans. Receipt of the Culture of Quality Certification affirms that a Behavioral Health Board meets the statutory requirements that govern the policies and operations of the Boards.

The Ashtabula County MHRS Board is one of 50 Alcohol, Drug Addiction Mental Health (ADAMH) Boards in the state of Ohio and is ONE of thirty-five boards currently certified as a Culture of Quality Board.
