This month’s Prevention Spotlight is Glenbeigh. They are a member of the ARMC Healthcare System, a Cleveland Clinic affiliate, and is a specialty alcohol and drug rehabilitation hospital. With five outpatient centers located in several communities across Ohio and Pennsylvania, they serve a broad area and accept patients from across the United States. Their mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare to those in need of alcohol and substance use disorder treatment and to support ongoing recovery efforts.

Beth Brown stated that she likes being a part of the Prevention Coalition because the group is important to her to help spread awareness & prevention to the community. She also stated, “As a member we see a lot of a great things behind the scenes with all members and how everyone can be used to spread awareness. The people and partnerships in this group are top notch. I am honored to be a part of this group and helping the community.”

Brian Eliason said that he accepted the opportunity a few years back when asked to join the Prevention Coalition because he felt he could always do more with his passion, commitment, and desire to help others in his community. He realized instead of sitting on the sidelines he can be a part of something that helps find solutions and can create change when needed in our community. Brian also stated, “The relationships, compassion, and commitment I have been able to witness with other members, are simply amazing! Being a part of something bigger than me is where I still need to be. I have dedicated my life to service of others, and it always will start in my own community.” He concluded with, “The two most important dates of our lives, the day we were born, and the day when we find out why.” -Mark Twain

We are honored to have both Brian and Beth be a part of the Prevention Coalition and thank Glenbeigh for all of their support.
